How much in gallons would a family living in a 2,500 sq. ft house save by lowering the thermostate at night from 68 degrees to 63 degrees? Thank you so much in advance.

You need a certified HVAC engineer to figure it out. Too many unknown variables without a total inspection of the furnace and the property.

I thought I heard your bill would decrees 3% per degree. You should not sleep in a house that is 68 degrees, it's to warm. Flannel sheets are they greatest thing. I set our heat at 60 at night and I live in northern Vermont. It's colder then 20 at night, most nights.

Impossible to answer your question! There's SO many variables to consider. Type of house, exposure, appliances you have, etc. And this barely scratches the surface.
