i'm not certain about that, but i thought u might appreciate this little-known fact-the us coast gaurd was founded in direct response to the sinking of the titanic, and every year on the anniversary of the sinking,a us coast gaurd plane flies over the spot where she went down, and drops a memorial wreath into the ocean.b4 robert ballards discovery of the ship, they would drop the wreath approximately where she sank, since 1985 or so,they have been able to drop it over the exact spot.if u havent read "her name, titanic" yet,u might enjoy this moving and fact-filled history of the ill-fated ship.i believe the author is charles pellegrino, but im not sure, its been 4 years since i read it.the web site "encyclopedia titanica" may have some info. u would enjoy, and u can visit the titanic museum outside orlando,florida-its tasteful, moving and an amazing experience.

I don't know about that. But I remember that they gave one of the dead passengers who was a baby boy, a proper funeral.
