Seriously, the 'treatments' section of the Mayo Clinic article on PMS has some suggestions for medicines, etc. Also, give her lots of support, even if you want to run away and hide right now.

A thing takes AT LEAST as long to get out of as it takes to get into. Thus, nothing is immediate. (A teacher noted that ever since the electric light, we've had a society of people who think everything else will be as quick.)
What your friend can do is get into "progesteron" treatment (estrogen itself is rather harsh.) My wife used "Neways" and it worked quite well for her.

My fiance would say ear plugs, but i would say stop by a store and pick up some Midal PMS. and accidentally place it on the counter in plain sight. and plead with her that it musta been a sign from god.

Ibuprofen works for me. Follow the directions on the bottle for the dosage.

What really helps me...for some reason...is dark chocolate with some chamomile tea with honey in it.
