I'll answer your question when my husband and I finally start living together. We've been married for a year but we only spent a total of 4 weeks together. Gotta Love the Military Life... (I guess all that changes because the spouses get used to each other. They no longer have to impress one another)

Oh no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. NO!!!!
The only thing that has changed for me and Marlin is that we have adopted a little boy and that we are now parents.
Period panties on the bathroom door? I don't think so.
Urinating with the door open? Hahahaha!
Burping every 5 sceonds? Yeah. When I was like 3.
Farting in the bed? That's natural.
Flab? No he's sort of skinny.
Snores? Well, yeah, can't deny that sh.it annoys the hell out of me.
But besides that, no, not much has changed.

People cannot be at their best every day and every minute. Sooner or later, you like to put your hair down and relax. People become comfortable and familiar with each other - like roommates. It's not like that when you're just dating. As far as what you mentioned about women above, I am not that way because I'm too self conscious. I still close the bathroom door and so on.

That is not the case in my marriage, it's just the sh*tty ones you hear about, people tend to listen up more when the gossip is bad and people tend to let out the issues in their relationship to get if off of their chest and to see if anyone else is having the same problem.

LoL..
seriously tho, it's important to take care of urself. always.. for ur own independence and attractiveness and confidence, AS WELL as ur partner.
appearance is Directly Linked to confidence (i think)...even if u don't look the best ever, if u know u are working out and are actively taking care of urself, u Feel good about urself, and then u also show the world that u care, and u are a reflection of ur partner

You're right, that often happens.
I think the reason for it is that the couple slowly begins to live as one. Which in the beggining is romantic, but not when you've been married for awhile. Who wants to become "One"
As long as you stay yourself, you'll never change.

my husband stopped dressing really nice just so he could be "comfortable" and the long sensual good back massages have stopped, now all i get are the cheap one handed ones. But some good things have happened like he cooks more.

What has happened with us, is we cherish the time we have alone together when either the kids are asleep or the kids are at Grandmas. Since before we had the kids, we had alot more time alone with each other.

When you start these things, you have gotten out of control our out of love. You don't care anymore like you did at first , you just let yourself go. Get fat, funky and when that happens, I feel a divorce coming on.
