What makes your neighborhood safe?

I don't know, I thought it was and last friday three guy's tried to break in to our house. thank god my son was there and chased them off with the shot gun and our two dogs! Hopefully that will teach them a lesson!

I live at the end of a cul-de-sac. Houses aren't bunched together, and it's well-lit. We're also about three blocks from the police station. Everyone has a dog, all outside and fenced in, and all like to bark, with the exception of our big Aussie Shepherd, who sleeps in our bedroom. To top it off, I have an Astra A-75 and an AK-47. And I don't fire warning shots.
It's pretty safe, yeah.

That would depend on what you consider safe. I don't go out at night. I have 4 "little friends" in the words of Al Pacino in Scarface.One sleeps under my pillow. We haven't had much of a problem in my neighborhood.

Mine is safe because I don't live near the guy with the shotgun or the guy with the AK-47 who does not fire warning shots.
My neighborhood is safe because I have good neighbors.

I THINK IT'S SAFE. HAVE HAD TROUBLE A COUPLE OF BLOCKS AWAY BOTH DIRECTIONS. OLDER FAMILY, AND SOME YOUNG ONES TOO. OLD NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSES. THE STREET IS ONLY 1 BLOCK LONG. WE ALL RESPECT EACH OTHER, STAY TO OURSELVES BUT ARE THERE IF THE NEIGHBORS NEED US.
