How do i download music from my computer to my Sprint Krzr k1m and use it as ring tones? I can put music on the phone but cannot use it as ring tones for some reason. any suggestions?

Great phone and great question. Motorola is the company that actually makes the phone (and yes, there are subtle differences between the "Sprint" version of the phone and othes, such as the "AlTel" version).
Motorola can disable certain features in a phone, for example, IF Sprint wants them to. In such cases, neither one of the companies would advertise what you CAN'T do with their phones, so it's been extremely hard trying to find te answer to yoiur question. Calling either company is also an option. It's possible that you may be get more info from Motorola or a local Sprint dealer interested in selling you software or getting referrals.
For some features, it may even depend what plan you're on.
You can also check out the following part of Motorola's website where they list some software (Phone Tools 4) that you can use to "Personalize with Ringtones, Images and Videos". Seems to be the line they give you wherever you buy the software, but at least you know it's made or endorsed by the people who made your phone. Simply put....Sprint does not allow personalized ringtones for phones. You also cannot bluetooth ringtones on most of their phones. If you have a pocketpc or any other kind of SMART PHONE you can but you have to pay the monthy data charge

the phone could commence charging promptly once the USB chord is suitable to the pc. The ringtones will be extra that way because once the phone is suitable to the USB port and each and each of the drivers are put in, that's going to artwork like all different exterior memory gadget. i wish this allows.
