Overstock is a good place to shop, but you need to be mind full of the discounts they provide. Certain categories of merchandise are setup to attract and retain customers, and others are set up for profit. That is often why you see some people saying it is a great deal, and other saying it is a terrible deal.
They publish great coupons, so if you make a purchase there without one, you most likely are not getting the best deal. They have reasonable and competitive prices when stacked with those coupons.

I have never had any problems with them, but I have never purchased anything very large like furniture etc... I have ordered everything from clothing to books and have been pleased. The prices change every now and then, so you should still price check. Often you can get shipping for free or just $1. Returns for things that didn't fit were easy, and their customer service was good. I have gotten better deals on some things than on Amazon, and Amazons customer service has gotten pretty bad. I'd recommend them.

I have ordered from the a couple of times and have always been satisfied. The $2.95 flat-rate shipping is a BIG plus. A lot of companies charge lower prices and then jack-up the shipping to make up the difference

I've always been happy with them and I've ordered LOTS of stuff - clothing, furniture, CDs. The flat 2.95 shipping - even on BIG items - is really nice. Even checking on Bizrate to compare prices, Overstock usually comes up as the cheapest. Plus, their customer service is in the United States. I've only had to deal with customer service once, and they were great.

Yes, but double check with other companies first. Their prices are kind of high on some things. Excellent shipping prices, though. I've bought some things from them (mostly books, tapes and DVD's) and have been very satisfied.

Yes! They actually have free shipping on certain Items. I once found books half off on there website. The only draw back is, alot of times they only have older products.

I've purchaced CDs from them at a really good price. I didn't have any problems. And I got free shipping too.
