And if someone else (perhaps even yourself) were to disrupt this state it would cause you distress?

The repositioning of material possession by the slightest fraction may manifest an empirical reality that is loss of control.

A possible notion of a personal intellectual and perceptive space in all its purity is raped by another person.

Above which, under observation, the other person viewed as an intruder exerting an almost constant control and/or interference over the person at a critical development point in life, or;
generates a constant stream of implicit actions that appear as explicit control over the affected person through a third party agent inanimate or animate object, becomes not only in opposing poles to the person's pattern of thinking, but also exceptionally distasteful.

Loss of control to another force or being is a key issue not apparent to the beholder. Social disorder and induced anxiety makes it all the more difficult to diagnose.

Neither implying current state of self nor of someone else.
An extreme example used to illustrate the vagaries of above subject matter.

my bed...or just plain my whole room. I hate it when others disrupt it in there. I always have to have music on. I'm not terribly OCD, but i do take meds for it! Yeah, i have to have my little organized mess so i feel safe and content. BUT IM NOT A FREAK. just so bad crap has happened to me to provoke this...

No one can hang up or remove anything from my closet, its color, fabric, season, length and item coordinated. I would be highly upset if my clothes got out of order. I would never let anyone browse through my CD collection either because of this, they are all ordered by genre, artist and release date. I stack my refrigerator and freezer really neat also and group frozen breakfast foods, frozen lunch foods and frozen TV dinners. I hate it when people just toss groceries around. I prefer to bag my own groceries as well.

Not if I'm doing it correctly!
