They get their salary and medical benefits for life. They get secret service agent protection for life. They get a library named after them. They get to select an office for their post-presidency work to be done. All this is paid by you and me, the taxpayer.

On top of that, they get paid top dollar for speaking engagements.

They get to give permission for their former aides to go into the National Archives and steal incriminating and embarrassing documents so that they can be surreptitiously destroyed. You know, like Berger.
