I’m a guy in my early 20’s and It’s just I can’t be around huge crowds of people because I have been bullied most of my life and it has left me feeling really nervous about being around crowds of people. Has anyone else felt the same? What did you do about it?

It's possible that you are comfortable defending yourself in adulthood against small groups of people but still feel vulnerable in large groups. But here's the rub, there's more "friends" in a large crowd. Someone to step up in your defense if you're in trouble. I don't like big crowds mostly becuase I just don't like lots of people. Too much opposing behavior. Maybe in your case you worry about the unpredictable nature of a large crowd of people. It's not uncommon.

I wouldn't worry unless it prevented you from actually partaking in life. If it just means you don't go to the movies during the 7:00 hour, then it's okay. Go to the matinee.

I have a different slant on this. I just don't like a lot of people. I'm not that patient and particularly not with ignorant people.

I hate to get in the middle of a crowd of geriatrics. They think the world is theirs and bang the heck out of you with their big purses.

I don't like being around a large group of teenagers either. Talk about arrogant, pushy, rude, and foul mouthed!

I'm much happier in small groups or by being alone.

Hello,

(replying) I dont personally have any answers to this specific problem or experience. But I can myself relate directly to what your saying, I definately DONT like big crowds, so I can gladly give football matches, rock & pop concerts a miss without feeling any sense of loss.

**I just avoid places & events I know involve large crowds, give me an empty beach or open moores any day and I'm much happier.

**No! your not alone or strange, I think many people experience this & have feelings of the same sort.

it really is effortless to oldsters who 'burn the useless night oil' , i replaced right into a huge band drummer and performed overdue maximum nights ( 2 - 3 ) interior the morning. a at the same time as clock ultimately adjusts and also you get used to it. in simple terms make confident you eat nicely and do not drink too a lot alcohol.

Yes! I can't stand it! I don't even go to the movies on the opening night. If i do go, it would of had to be out for atleast 3 weeks and on a weekday. Glad to know I'm not alone.
