Many of the industrialized countries have a holiday that they celebrate with fireworks. I never heard anything about fireworks being celebrated on the 4th of July except America. I read over the internet that Ireland sets off fireworks on Halloween and New Zealand lights off fireworks on November 5th. New Years is a popular day to light off fireworks in many countries.

I was not aware of "other countries" celebrating the fourth of July! Why would they???
The only people I know overseas that do celebrate it are ex-pats, i.e. Americans who live overseas and get together to celebrate the holiday, you'll also see them get together at Thanksgiving for the same reason. Also of course all the U.S. Embassies and consulates will celebrate the American holidays.
