hi can any one help me the problem is my screen flicks on and off then my cursor goes missing any ideas what this could be?

I'm going to assume you have updated and run a complete virus scan as well as a spyware scan with something like Adaware or Spybot. If this found nothing......
This sounds like some sort of problem with either the Video Card or the mouse. Check their resources in the Device Manager and make sure there are no problems.
To test, try a different mouse and see if the problem gets better.
If this fixes it, great.
Next try a different Video Card to see if the problem gets better.
If this fixes the problem, great, if not
Try replacing the driver with a new one from the Manufacturer's website. Download the latest driver, even if it is the one you are using.
