i can get the first slip knot but after that i cant figure it out. i have been googling wesites and have a learners book and i just do not understand what i am doing wrong.
any tips
please!!!!!
i have been on knitting help.com and i cant get teh video to play because i am at work. any other sugggestions are greatly apprecieated!

Michaels offers knitting classes. You could also contact a senior citizens center in your area. I'm sure there are plenty of ladies willing to help you learn for the price of a liitle companionship.
You'd be doing something good for both of you. :)

I would try the Klutz knitting book. It is amazing! It comes with yarn and needles too. It teaches how to knit and has I think 5-6 projects!! I bought it and thats how I learned! Good luck and hope I helped.

I tried to learn to Knit but couldnt get it so I went to Crocheting much easier & can convert some Knit stuff to Crochet

there is an amazing kit at Target called "knit this" it's amazing because it has an intructional DVD,so you can actually watch somone knit! it REALLY works!
