my husband has been in the hospital because of his pancreas after hevy drinking. that was 2 months ago and he have not drink eny alchol sins then. tomorrow we want to go fishing and he want to drink 4 beers very slowly, because everyone els wil be drinking beer to enjoy the day but not to get drunk. i just want to know if it will be save if he drink only 1 or 4 beers? no more because i will be watching him or should i not alow him to drink a beer. just for his savety.

Is it really that hard to just not drink beer? He has been hospitalized because of his health problems related to drinking! Is he afraid his friends will tease him if he doesn't drink or something? Surely everyone you are with will understand that his health is much more important than having a few beers. Maybe you should consult his doctor, and have the doctor tell your husband that it is not worth it to drink even a few beers if his pancreas is that bad. Think about it this way: if he has to be hospitalized again, will you think back and say "yeah, those 4 beers were totally worth it"? I don't think so!

only let him have 1, it bad for his panrceas and it can also hurt him badly if he drinks to much and if he drives home drunk, you know
