I live with my best friend in a will & grace relationship, his last relationship was abusive & always said he was happy being single, about 4 months ago some guy started chasing after him & now they are seeing each other. I have several issues with this, the first is we've always been really close text each other during the day, & go out together & now we don't go out, & I'm lucky if i get a text from him now. He doesn't want his life he's always had mixing with his new life, only agreeing to see this new guy twice a week, & he hasn't told his family about this new relationship, won't meet this new guys friends, etc... From what he tells me, it's like an affair. I just wonder can this last, is normal for a relationship? The other problem I have is I'm now stuck at home by myself as I stayed living where I went to college & family live a long way away & friends have moved away. So I feel very lonely at the moment. Before someone says get a guy, I have no sex drive & don't want a guy.

u need to focus on yourself... improve on urself.. life is too short to have it depend on ONE person. so, develop ur interests.. take some classes, throw urself into work, get to know coworkers, family, freinds, etc. make more friends! have more get togethers, parties, attend more social events and clubs. or church. the more people u can socialize with , the less u will depend on this roommate to make your life interesting! just be there when he needs a friend, and go out once in awhile w/ him.. but don't dwell on one person, even if u had a boyfriend, to maek u happy. u gotta be able to make Urself happy. :)
i like having time to myself now.. i have bible study and church wed and sunday, and see my boyfriend like 2-3 times a week.. the rest of the time i enjoy w/ my family at home or by myself reading, watching tv, etc. take some art classes, etc, to meet more people w/ similar interests. that way u have lots of peopel to talk to, and then u go home and chill. good luck
