I have not had a period since october and I took a HPT and it was neg. My husband and I had unprotected sex 5 days ago. How soon can I do a HPT. I went to the doctor to get on BC and they told me to start on Sunday I forgot to tell her about have unprotected sex 5 days ago. I guess my question is if you don't have a period do you still ovulate and can you still get pregnant if you dont have a period? I don't really want to be pregnant right now. I have a 8 month old baby girl.

I am 3 weeks late for my period and i am not to worried about it and my docs don't seem to be either. I was worried at first as my baby is only 3 months old but i think your system maybe still be trying to get back to normal as pregnancy is a big thing for your body to go through i a lot of things have to return to normal once baby is here. Main thing is try not to stress that can delay ur period.

their is always a possiblility of ovulating...but usually if you don't have periods that is a sign of not ovulating. I wouldnt worry about it I don' think you are pregnant
