give him some tickets to an action/adventure movie. Maybe Alpha Dog or We Are Marshall.

Its not what you give its what it means .
find some thing he likes to do or just give him something that makes him think about your friend ship don't just buy some tacky present.
the gift is not important but the thought is .
take him some where or do some thing special don't give him some thing that he will forget about weeks later .
put together some memories or give him some thing he can use.
I don't like presents they have no real feeling behind them and would rather get a surprise party.

Get him clothes that he wants, what i do with my bestfriend is i take him to the store he buys his clothes too and tell him, you have this much money to spend and then he picks a shirt or something and then I buy it for him. I guess it all depends on what type of guy he is, and what he likes to do, but most important, how much you want to spend. Clothes are always useful!

there are some websites that let you tailor your gift to its recipient. you just enter what they are like, hobbies, etc and they will suggest gifts. i used them a lot over christmas. guys are hard to shop for anyway!
