twice in the past two days I have felt this weird movements inside me. I am 38 weeks pregnant, and the feeling feels like... If your leg starts moving on its own. Like shaking when you were sitting in your desk as school? His leg or something is moving quickly!! I think it is just a leg, or an arm. But should I be concerened that it may be considered "frantic movement?" what would you do. It has only happened twice in two days. For like 10 seconds. nothing bad kinda just feels like hickups, but much faster and does not last long at all. Weird. (I have had two kids before and never felt this. )

Well, I can recall feeling something similar with one of mine occasionally. Here is what I found looking on the internet.

I think it is their jaw...they do that after they are born..their jaw does that quivering thing. I think sometimes we can feel that when they are inside us. :-)

At 19 weeks your toddler remains fantastically small and should be very energetic yet your not feeling a lot of it. Your toddler is amazingly threat-free in there and it ought to take severe pressure (like a punch proper interior the tummy) to damage your toddler. if you're nonetheless problem then in simple terms call your OB and make an appointment or visit the ER. there is no shame in a frightened mom. good success!

It's normal for babies to have sudden movements, especially if they are startled by a loud noise. My daughter is always movin' and shakin' around like she's having a dance party. If you do get very concerned, a quick call to your OB should put your worries to rest. And each baby is different. I thought my son was active until my daughter started her antics. She's much more active than her brother.

if you are that concerned call your doctor and let him know, he might want to do a sonogram to check on the babe.... I hope it's nothing to worry about, my daughter felt like a team of football players in there when I carried her, I could not distinguish between a leg or arm or anything.

I never had that happen. If you are worried about it, call your doctor and just ask them about it. Better safe than sorry. Hopefully you just have a baby that is very excited to make his or her grand entrance.
