provera is a all progesterone hormone and it should make you bleed if you are not bleeding then your need to consult your doctor because their could be a more serious problem..I am now taking provera as a progesterone challenge to see if i start bleeding..how long have you been on provera for so far and how long has it been since you have your period. we need a little bit more information and how old are you....Has your doctor checked your piuitary gland, your LH and FSH levels, prolactin levels, thyroid?? if not you might want to ask him about all those..are you overweight? do you have acne? oily skin, facial and body hair ect? those are some symptoms of PCOS(polycistic ovarian syndrome)..If you don't tell your doctors what you are experiencing they can't do nothing...FYI just be calm and patient give your period a little time to come, don't stress...If you still have not had your period after stopping the progesterone up until 7 days after stopping it then call your doctor....good luck!
