Help - my teen has got apple peel stains on my white cotton tablecloth. This has been soaked and washed but still the horried brown mark remains. Bleaching has not worked, any other ideas?

My daughter once lost her favorite white shirt, by the time we found it it had grown mold. I washed and soaked and bleached. Finally I put it into a plastic washtub with oxyclean and water for three days. It worked!!!

This is going to sound a little weird but it really does work, just use regular lemon juice on the stain and let it soak in for about a half an hour, then put it in the sun to dry out for most of the day. The sun and the lemon juice work together almost like bleach but better for the environment and better for your health. OK, I am so totally addicted to a show call "Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean, Linda Cobb" on DIY Network and HGTV and one of her guests had a similar problem.

Here's what I do.
Wet the fabric and then dip the stained area in straight bleach.
Keep an eye on it and it'll be gone in no time. Wash IMMEDIATELY afterwards, so the bleach doesn't start to 'eat' the fabric. Works like a charm!

Try soaking it in any of the `oxy-clean` ranges available.Don't put it in the tumble dryer as this will `set` the stain, and will be nearly impossible to remove.

You can also try Borax. It's whitening agent and stain removal tool.

Clorox also came out with a new bleach specific for white delicates...try that in conjunction with the Borax and it might work.
