Specifically, since the Penn State Nittany Lions are going to go 12-0 next year, will they be snubbed because OSU represented the Big Ten so poorly?

It happened in 1994. The Big Ten was perceived as weak and it cost PSU dearly. That was the greatest offensive team I've ever seen; they could score from anywhere on the field.

There is some validity to your question. Because the big 10 was 2-5 in bowls and didn't play meaningful games out of conference the polls may not be so kind next year. Maybe 3 teams are undefeated and voters will say "hey remember last year when we we all thought Michigan and Ohio State were the best? Let's not do that again"

The first thing that might suffer is that one or two super recruit who wants to win a National Championship...If they are waivering between a Florida, Texas, California or Ohio School, they'll likely won't choose OSU...The truth was revealed Monday night.

The second, less severe thing is that OSU likely won't be a preseason top five pick...Maybe not even top ten with the losses they are taking to graduation/early NFL defection.

One Florida player said "Ginn should be playing in the SEC!"...Lots of quality kids heard that and would find it hard to disagree...If you want to be with the elite, you'll have to go to the SEC...That will hurt recruiting for the whole Big Ten.

I love Joe Pa.

PSU = My favorite Big Ten School

The thing about football is that on any given day you can be beaten but its not shameful always and surly OSU did on that day try there best and it just was not a good day for then, LSU FAN

The biggest repercussions will come in recruiting. OSU's recruiting class of 07' was not in the top 15 before they got the shitt beat out of them. Now they will be lucky to get a few of Jerry's Kids to come play for their shamed program.

Penn St want even be picked in the top 10 next year. Joe Pa needs to give it up.I hate to say this but Southern Cal will be loaded but they play nobody. And Ohio St. sucked was so glad our SEC team beat them like a drum.

OSU will be strong next year. They were great this year, except they got a dose or reality with Florida. OSU was good, Florida was great. Hooyah....
