AAAAAHHHHHH! I'm going crazy! I just started up my own audio engineering business last week. I personally don't make any money yet, as I'm trying to just pay off the equipment. I've kept my day job in order to pay rent, utilities, food, etc..... Trying to do both at once is stressing me out BIG TIME! Anyone have any advice on how to survive through this start up period?

Congrats! I'm actually trying to do something similar.

Long story short, unless you start making enough $$ w/ your business thatt you can quit your day job, you just have to put up with it.

Is is possible for you to get a day job that is related to audio engineering? Like with a recording studio or something? That might make it easier to deal with and you could also get additional knowledge/experience.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you!

Don't quit the day job until your new business is solidly on its feet.
Starting a business the way you did is smart, since most new ventures fail. But as you now know, working two jobs can be a big challenge.

Look at the hassles you are going through now as an investment in your future.

the age old q. Most people put in a lot of time working their normal job until they make money in their business. It is just the way it works. If you have a business plan you can look for a small business loan as well.
