There a variety of medical conditions that could cause this from medication affects to hormonal problems. I would suggest you see a doctor to be evaluated.

I'm the same way, we have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now and I've gotten my period about 3 times the whole year and i kept getting negative pregnancy tests. I went to the doctor and he put me on Provera to make my period come so I could ovulate. They couldn't find any reason why I wasn't getting it. I've always been normal before. Well, the provera isn't working all that well, so I go to the doctor on the 19th and they are going to put me on Clomid, which has a high risk of multiples...oh well, why not just get all my babies done in one shot, right?
Anyway, I just want you to know that sometimes when you get off the pill, it could take up to a year for your period to become normal. Another thing is stress, that could cause you to be irregular, weight gain or loss can also. I would suggest you go see your doctor.

There are lots of things
Stress
Too much Exercise
Medications
Diet
Anything. Our bodies are complicated. I'd se your Dr. though. Sometimes Ectopic pregnancies don't come up on pregnancy tests and those can be deadly!

there are quite a few reasons this might have happened. one of the most common reasons is if you have lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. another could be stress. there could also be medication affecting you or too much excercise.
if you are still unsure, see a doctor and ask advice.

Taking medecines that are not apart of your daily thing or that are new to your body, such as antibiotics can cause that.
Also, stress can be a huge contributing factor.
