Well, his father is African-American and his mother is Irish-American so his race is mixed, something between black and white race.

Jason Kidd is one of the most versatile players in the NBA right now, even at his age. His family, more specifically his parents are from different races. His dad is and African-American while his mom is an Irish-American. So in simple form, his dad is a Black (not trying to be racist but I couldn't find another word) and his mom is Caucasian.
