It is easy to attract the attention of someone new...the hard part is keeping the one you have interested. Women want love and men want respect. After all in scripture it says a man was made in the image and glory of God and a woman was made in the image and glory of man, so, the best thing a man can do is take good care of the gift God gave him and the best thing a woman can do is take good care of the crowning act of creation. Where it goes wrong is in the chain of command when they disconnect from God and become their own God's it is all downhill from there. If someone gave you a beautiful vase but it had a slight flaw on it would you turn the flaw for the world to see or turn the flaw to the wall so the world can only see the beauty....Should we not treat our loved ones as well as the vase? We forget that the grass on the other side of the fence must be watered and fertilized too...put that labor in your own home and make it beautiful. Your friends say that because they can no longer be totally selfish but have to learn to be intimate and share themselves with another human being. Women also do not understand that a man does not think or feel the same as they do but that is what makes them so interesting. Have a great day. Mmm

The main thing that happens to married couples is they get used to each other. They stop trying to impress the person anymore just because they are married. I feel getting into a relationship and maintaining it is hard work, but so is marriage. The sex life change, personality changes, ppl tend to feel once they're married everything of their partners is there's. Being single means that you don' t have to go through that. Marriages only work with communication, and doing something or having something on your own.

I've been married to my hubby for almost 12 years and I've never wanted to be single again, neither has he. We are ecstatically happy, in fact we are still honeymooning. The key is that marriage is not a 50/50 proposition. In my house is 110/110. If we each give all we have to the marriage then nobody feels they are doing all the work.

I've been married 7 years to the same man. I think sometimes after your married for awhile your mind drifts and you can't help but wonder about things "If you know what I mean" doesn't mean I act on it. You sometimes got in the same old routine of things and want change or may be even need change. Wait until your older to get married.

I don't wish I was single again. I wish we could just grow old, do a little traveling, spend a little time with family, and die. Isn't that what's supposed to happen after you get married!?! You have kids, work, pay bills, take a few vacations, play with the kids, do your daily wife and mother or husband and father things, and then you fukin die....end of story. If you stay single, then you don't have to grow old AS FAST, but your @ss still gets old. Better to have someone to share it with, I think, and make a few memories with.

I think it's the freedom that people miss and absence of responsibility. Meaning basically not having to answer to anyone and kinda living care free.
In my case it was a feeling of youth. Not so much not liking married life and everything, it was just something about being single that I was relating to being young. I missed that.

They think the grass is greener on the other side. But you probably envy them because they have found someone who is their soul mate. Most people who have been married for a while don't realize the "weird and crazy" world of dating. Plus they don't think about the STD's out there.

They realized that they were not mature enough to get married and not passionate enough to stay married. Being single is fun but being married (happily married) is fun, satisfying, full filling and gives you the most beautifulest feeling one can experience.

Marraige, compared to being single, usually sucks in every way.. except the kids. They're a lot of fun, and you don't need marraige to have them.

Thats sad! I have been married to an amazing woman for 6 years now and the have been the best years of my life. She is my best friend. Your friends sound like they are taking their marriage for granted. Either way, don`t give up on finding true love.
