When I was younger I was a massive fan of both Iron maiden and G n'R ,but sometimes felt because Iron maiden where out first that Axel Rose might have copied Bruce Dickinson the way they both act on stage is very simular

Also what's your all time G n R and Iron maiden Fav Albums.

Your thoughts please lol

gnr - lies

Maiden - Live after Death was awesome but if you'd asked for fave tracks it would be either "remember tomorrow" or "Hallowed be thy name"

Have you seen them recently? Bruce is a class act and very good on stage, but these days Axel often is moody or arrogant and insults the crowd! I think the glory days of GnR are behind them but Maiden are still a good band. I love the Bruce Dickinson rock show on Radio 6 - he's a great rock DJ.

My favourite Maiden album is probably Number Of The Beast. It has lots of really great songs and no poor ones.

As for GnR I think all their albums have some great songs and some very poor ones, I would say their Greatest Hits album is my favourite as it has no weak tracks.

I'd say Bruce is much better than Axl. Both were good, but Bruce had a much better range and better stage presence.
Fav G-n-R album: Lies or Use Your Illusion 2
Fav Maiden Album: Powerslave

Well, both of them, along with most metal singers, are emulating Robert Plant. But between the two I have to go with Axl since the only thing that ever kept me from liking Maiden WAS Bruce's voice ( I think the original singer was much better). as far as my Favorite GnR album, it would have to be Appetite.

Apetite rocked but Axel bought into his own hype making him a giant vajayjay Bruce on the other hand was able to keep real life and rock &roll persona seperate there by making him a much more endurring artist and endearing human

First off, I don't like Iron Maiden..sorry. One time an interviewer asked Axl if GN'R have anything in common with Iron Maiden and he said "I hope NOT" and he slapped the guy. And, you spelled Axl wrong. I don't have a favorite GN'R album...I LOVE THEM ALL!

I WAS A HUGE FAN OF GUNS 'N' ROSES WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. I LOVED ALL THEIR ALBUMS- APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION, BOTH USE YOUR ILLUSIONS, LIES, SPAGHETTI INCIDENT. THE LAST-I LIKED JUST SEVERAL TRACKS. I LOVED NOT SO POPULAR SONGS TOO- COMA, THE GARDEN, LOCOMOTIVE, ETC. OF COURSE, PATIENCE, SWEET CHILD OF MINE, DON'T CRY, WERE CLASSICS! FOR IRON MAIDEN- I HEARD FIRST"FEAR OF THE DARK" OF COURSE AND IT STAYED MY FAVOURITE.
