If it's a small area it may sound weird but sometimes rubbing with bread will help - something to do with the yeast content - I don't recommend eating the bread afterwards though. I have also used the liquid clothing pre wash treatment called vanish dabbed at the mark with a cotton wall ball or kitchen paper.

You can try just a damp cloth but in my experience it never cleans it without leaving a tell tale mark. Best advice I can give you is to paint with silk emulsion in future it wipes clean without taking paint off on the cloth. I have two grandchildren so I know bout these things having had to remove HUNDREDS of hand prints off my walls!!

Do it in smaller parts - in some thing like a paint kettle (or purely a biggish pot). in case you do it into the paint pot initially it is going to not better healthful (!) yet secondly as you paint you will hit upon it gets thicker on the fringe of the backside. So purely dilute returned.

Luke warm water on a clean rag (not too much). Try dabbing at first and if it won't come off, rub carefully in a circular motion
