1. This probably depends on what part of the country you live. I live in the Pacific Northwest and the rivers are cold, clean, fast and dangerous. If you live by the Mississippi River, it is slow and wide and dirty and very dangerous from changing sandbars.
2. My river is the cold, clean, fast and dangerous one.
3. Fishing, crystal clear, double ended McKenzie River driftboats, very cold, dangerous if you are careless, watching fish swiming on the bottom, very nice to be beside, great "music" from the water, soothing, peaceful, covered bridges, large rocks in places.
4. The river is a constant stream of water that starts high up in the mountains and by the force of gravity makes its way to the ocean. It is an essential feature of the land and provides water for farming, fishing, pleasure boating, drinking, and humidity.

I am 62, male, Just retired as President of a medium sized manufacturing company, college degree Bachelor of Science in Business - Management.
