Maybe, there is a couple of teams to look out for, just because of their recruiting. USC is def. one of those teams. Other teams to keep an eye on is:
Texas
Tennessee
Michigan
Florida
Auburn

Let's hope so. They have all the talent in the world they just need to hope they get the right bounces. You literally have to be perfect all season to guarantee a spot.
That said there entire defense will be back except for Lua and Sartz who were both good players but not the stars. The line backing corps goes two deep, Rivers, Cushing and Maluga are all stars at linebacker but the 2nd stringers are rock solid and would start for most other teams. The DB's were almost all 1st year starters so they come back with a year's experience plus Pinkard will be back from injury.
The offense will be the key with two oline starters leaving in kalil and williams. The recruiting has been good at oline so hopefully guys will step in. Beyers was a #1 recruit in the nation and he was an olinemen and he will be back from injury although he has not yey lived up to the hype. The RB's will still be up in the air Moody and Gable did acceptable job for true freshmen. There is quite a few capable guys who will battle for RB spot and two great recruits coming in with Green and Tyler. Booty although he did well should be even better with experience. The two weapons Smith and Jarrett are gone but Turner a #1 WR recruit had alot of playing time last year. Davis is an excellent TE who should see alot of passes his way. The young guys coming through the system are very impressive Hazeton was a great high school WR and he wll be a sophmore.
They should be playing for a title next season. They will be preseason #1.

Ok, let's just not play out the season because teams like Oregon State and UCLA can't beat them right? There is no telling, USC could lose 3 games off the bat. We will only find out in time. However, I think that many teams out there have a great shot.

As large of an OSU fan as i'm, I actual ought to assert the SEC is way and away the suitable branch immediately. If USC has to play LSU or Florida, they are going to probable get ruled. Im predicting USC to be #a million interior the preseason rankings, yet receives ruled by technique of the SEC. go BUCKEYES.

USC has pretty much everyone coming back and it always seems to replace one superstar with another! Jarret may be gone but another one will stepup! You have to look out for Michigan as well with them only losing Branch from there defense! Colt McCoy and Texas should be someone to watch but do not count out Florida and Tebow! I have a couple of sleepers though.....Oregon has everyone coming back as well as Oregon State, Boise State will get a lot more respect next season and might end up going undefeated again but don't forget about Auburn!

Right. They'll play Michigan in a classic battle. The game won't be as lobsided as this year's game since some of USC's talent declared for the draft.

They could be or maybe not if the NCAA concludes its investigation into the Bush Bust and sanctions USC. The sanctions would be loss of scholarships and inability to play in post season games. People seem to forget that allegedly Pete Carroll ran a dirty program.

If they do they will have their asses handed to them by LSU. I really think that the two best teams next year will both be from SEC, Florida and LSU.
