It looks like his feedback is more positive than not. I know alot of times people give negative feedback because the person didn't get something shipped quick enough etc..... there are alot of unhappy people out there. I think you will probably be ok.

Only two issues I see:

PRO:
If you look at his ID history, he has been online since 2003 with 84 auctions and only one complaint. Everyone seems happy with his sales.

CON:
Guy buys a $4000 computer less than a year ago and is willing to sell it at $600? Sounds a bit too good to be true.

You may want to check some of the other auctions and see the price of what was being sold, and who the buyers were. If he has other big sales, and it is not always the same people buying from him on the big ticket items, it might be worth the purchase.

Still, $600-700 is a lot of cash, and if it is a scam, you are out a big chunk of change and/or have to argue and fight with PayPal or your bank to get the money back, and place a police report for fraud.

It may be simpler to just buy something locally. It may not be Alienware, but you are guaranteed a reliable site to go back to if there is a problem.

First, the product looks good. He has no negative feedback in the past year and has sold a lot since then. I will bet with 9 days left, this system will go for way over $1000, maybe closer to $2000. You said you were on a budget, do you need this much power? You can buy darn nice new laptops now for $6-$700.

Good Luck,

yes, but be prepared to pay for it. ebay is a trusted site, anyone with more than 5 feedbacks is a positive seller

Pretty sweet, but I bet it blows by your budget before all is said and done... Good luck! And I think the color ROCKS! (Matches my 2004 Dodge Ram HEMI!)
