Pirates one but two was a littles low with script and alot of fighting but thats because they are leading into 3 which will end on an awesome note.

Pirates 1.
I thought that one was more intellectually stimulating. I mean, it really took me awhile to figure out the whole thing. (why Jack wasn't a skeleton in the beginning, but then turned into one, and so on)
The second was really more slapstick and not nearly as challenging to follow.
So that's why I like the 1st one better.

1 is way better!! The originality of Depp's performance as Captian Jack Sparrow is dead and gone in the 2nd.

The first one was the best, the second one was just a filler movie, kind of like Matrix Reloaded.
