ok i just got a new apple desktop and i put a disk in to load something but there is no button to press to get it out can someone please tell me how to get it out!!

there should be an "eject" key on the keyboardnext to f12 or f16

if there isnt, just drag the disk icon on the desktop to the trash can. it will eject.

Here's a few methods: Press the F12 key. Press the Apple+E key. Click on the icon on desktop and select eject disk from menu. Just drag icon to trash in the dock. You can put a eject disk icon in the menu bar next to the little speaker icon if you like.

You should see it mounted in "finder" If so, there is an eject icon next to it. That will eject it. There is also an eject button on the keyboard. If the button does not work and you don't see the disk mounted in finder, then goto your applications folder, scroll down to utilities and open "disk utilities(not sure if this is exact name, I don't have my powerbook with me). Open disk util and you should see the disk in there, highlight it and goto the menu bar and select I think file or edit then you should see an option to eject.
