I get that a lot. I pay no attention to it. Unless they say something. I had people ask me why don't I speak Spanish. I tell we didn't speak it in are house hold.And that gives them more reason to roll there eyes. I guess they think we all should speak Spanish. Or maybe she just had a bad day.

by all means, it's not incredible that the people from other countries, Less powerful, do speak more than 1 language, have you asked yourself, how come that many foreigners in the states speak your language and you don't, it is a shame my friend, for all the Americans that have the chance of learning a bit more of the worlds culture and not doing so, with all the power of the country, instead of making this kind of questions, learn french...

Because you should be able to speak Spanish. What's wrong with knowing more than one language?
