Its the time of month game animals like deer are more active because of the moon. When the moon is at hunters moon, is the best time to hunt. I could be wrong, but i use a calender sometimes because it also has hunters moon on it. Again, i could be wrong

Probably refers to a bright full moon. Hunters would use it to see game at night.

At 0827 on Friday 10th the moon will show all of its face to us and if skies are clear there will be lots of moonlight.
This is why, of course, it is known as a Hunter's Moon. Plenty of moonlight is ideal for hunters shooting migrating birds in Northern Europe.
