Since i always play scrabble and for sure i know the rules.

Keep a rule book handy...or if you are playing Scrabble online then you can check out official Scrabble rules at http://www.scrabulous.com/scrabble_rules.php

Also, if you play Scrabble online, learning is much easier because you don't have to worry about scoring and making mathematical mistakes etc.

Try teaching them how to play. How did you learn the rules? Surely, the game comes with a rule book.

I used to play with my mother years ago, it was very frustrating, even as a kid, as she could only make 3 letter words..get the scrabble dictionary, with all those obscure 2 letter words and you will always be the winner(if that's what you want). Otherwise, find a new game, as you can't teach someone to spell overnight!!!

depends how old they r. if u playin wit a 8 year old dont bother urself wit it.
if they older then tell them how to play the game or just play with somebody that knows how to play....

It's just that simple.
