We are speaking of Spanish Contemporary upgrading to a hacienda style 100 unit complex. I don't think anyone really understand what Spanish Contemporary is by style and definition. Thanks

spanish contemporary encompasses the traditional spanish style but without any of the heavy ornamentation such as the kind you see in latin-american cathedrals. a pallette of earth tones and turquoise is featured. it would be very similar to the Mission style which features simple, geometric lines. unadorned arches, exposed beams. more straight lines than curves. earth tones used such as brick red, burnt sienna, dark mustard, sage green, all shades of tan and beige, black, and off white, cinnamon, rust, nutmeg. stucco and adobe is the common exterior surface. and some simple black wrought iron. lots of color is good for fabrics such as blankets, tapestries, cushions; similar to the geometric patterned navajo rugs.
