Ray Whitney wore the alternate captain's "A" on his jersey last night... I think he's a great choice, but I wanted to know what other Canes fans thought about it.

I noticed that (in the game highlights clip... Grumble. Why didn't they televise that game?)
I think he's a good choice, but I think Cole would have Been a good choice as well, and I think he's the next captain, or at least could be. Whitney will do a Good job as well.

I didn't see the game or the highlights... but I like hearing it!
I see Staal's name mentioned a few times, but he's not ready for that position yet... Most definitely he'll see it... but not today.
And I love Ray and the way he plays to the camera..
He's just HOT ;-)

I'm not a huge canes' fan but i am a hockey fan and i agree with the move. I think Justin Williams will wear the "C" some day...
