It means that even if the two people broke up they still love one another. It just wasnt working out how they planned it to. you can still be in love with a person your no longer with.

This person you are writing about, is trying to tell you that they do care about you even though you are not together. Do not think this means you are getting back together, this is their way of telling you they still care about you as a person, just not the relationship you had before. It could happen, but it is doubtful.
Just because there is love, there isn't necessarily romantic feelings. Even if you love someone that doesn't make them "THE ONE." I still love my ex's, both of them, but I am not 'in love' with them and do not wish to have a relationship with them. Sometimes you need to take a hard look at your feelings. People, like anything else can become a habit in your life and when they are gone, you miss them and even grieve over their loss in your life, even if their participation in your life wasn't always a bonus.

Since love is a commitment and not just a feeling... someone is sending you a "mixed" message. Maybe they're just saying they still have feelings for you but just no commitment. It also may be a way of expressing regret for hurting you without having the strength of character to explain why they can't be committed to a relationship with you.
People get confused easily about love. The best expression of real love is how we give to the other, putting their best interest at heart; not focusing on "what's in it for me".

It means that sometimes that they may not show the love that you are accustomed to. They may hurt your feelings in a way that makes you doubt their love for you and they may turn you down for something you really want, they want get for you. You feel left out of the things that make you think that he really doesn't love you anymore or has done something that is so wrong and turns away from you.

They may some way still love you but they are not quit sure. Or if they are the munipilating type they maybe telling you that so you don't move on especially if there is another person in the picture.

I don't see any subliminal message here.......does anyone else? This statement seems pretty straightforward to me.
Why do people need to think there some hidden message in simple statements or dreams. Like the Illuminatus or the Secret Order of masons or something is involved.
