I wish you the best on your crusade. I just hope their hatred can be quelled some day so that they can remain in place in our wonderful system of government. They are so blinded by their hatred that they have lost touch with reality. Therefore, they don't realize when they've been bested. That rationality that we got from FDR, Truman, JFK, and LBJ was beneficial for our country. Even the correction vote we got in '06 was a wake-up call that probably needed to happen. I know my guy Talent ran a sloppy campaign and lost his seat to a moderate Democrat. Hopefully people like her and Lieberman can return their party to one that actually has ideas. I would love to hear one Lib put forth a plan for victory in Iraq, or convince me that it isn't critical that we do so. I wish Pelosi and Reed the very best, but some of these guys you find on answers - there's little hope.

Golly-gee, conservatives never resort to ad hominem attacks like name calling. *rolls eyes*
I've lived through more ad hominem attacks over the last dozen years than I can count, simply because I don't buy into everything that comes out of the mouths of Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. And I can assure you, those ad hominem attacks were not coming from liberals. I'm sure there are some liberals who engage in ad hominem attacks as well, but I'm not one of them. I try to have standards. One of them is not calling someone a name, like "Neo-Lib." Have you caught the irony of your post yet, or do I have to hammer it home a little more? :P

There really isn't a winner or loser in a debate, just two differing opinions expressed in fashions that may make one appear "more credible" than the other....

That should be easy to tell. You will know you won because they will get mad, start slinging insults, making false accusations, and generally throwing hissy-fits like little children.

Generally when you are overcome with that warm, cozy, smug feeling of self-righteousness. It is a sure sign of having bested anyone.

Wow, did you draw some clever but harsh criticism (sarcasm intended) from the loopy leftys on this site. Way to go, and keep up the good work.

There is no besting them. Your best hope is to be the bigger man and ignore them. Any attempt to 'best' them leaves you the loser. Don't give them a second of your time, because they won't stop believing what they do.
