I think Australia was more entertaining. Not just their play but their attitude - they loved being there. They fought for the ball and played as well as they could. They did not give up and think that any team could beat them (like Japan, Germany etc).
Australia had a good close game against Italy. Italy should have won 4-nil but could not finish. Australia had them on the back foot. Australia had multiple WC winning Italy on the back foot !!!!!! This was entertainment.
Croatia got beaten by lowly placed Australia and that was with half of the Croatian team born (and trained) in Australia :-)

What about the Aussies? I went to the Australia v Croatia game at the World Cup and the Socceroos play an aggresive fast attacking game that was as exciting to watch as any South American team! I may be slightly biased though!

YAY-of course they did!!!! Well, actually it was cuz Italy was actually the only country in Germany 2006 that gave it its 100%! And that was the best they offered. The rest of the team countries played at a percent from 10%-30% of their greatest. No other country played at its best. That's the only reason why Italy won.

HELL NO! (again nice *** kissing) Australia played 1000 times better than Croatia, Croatia where disappointing! and Italy played better than Croatia, thats also very obvious!

yes...Croatia are one of the best teams! they're a very tough squad...it's a surprise they dont reach the 2nd round or even the quarter-finals (at least)

I was for Germany, they played like they were going to die after they lost. Since they were hosting, thats probaly what they were thinking, too. They're now my absolute FAVORITE team I cant wait till EURO.
