Red bellies are the most common seen in the pet trade. Some others are the black ( very aggresive), Green tiger, violet line, wimple, big toothed, five cusped, gold pirahna and more. Not all pirahna are aggressive and eat meat..some actually prefer plants!

I have a Bronte. He is larger than my hand. I was told that he is a man eater?? I dont know we have had him for years.
