Having problem with usb drive...?

whenever after using my usb drive i click on safely remove hardware it says "cannot remove at this time please try later" & every time it says the same thing.

just exit the program running the device then just unplug it, it wont hurt it, i think it just says safely remove so u dont lose any of ur work and stuff

Mine has done this, just shut down the computer, remove it, then start it back up.. Good Luck

Anytime my computer acts up I'm told to shut it down and reboot.
