I have successfully transfered music from my laptop computer to my ipod (they are syncronized.) And I am now trying to transfer music from my home desktop computer to my ipod. It is a 30G video ipod and I've been using itunes for these actions. Is there a way to transfer the music from my home computer without syncing the ipod and deleting all my music from the other computer? Is there anyway to get the music from both the computers safely onto my ipod?

Yes... simply use the "Add this Folder" (as long as they're all in one place) command from the "File" menu to add music files from your desktop to your iPod.

There is 3rd party software called anapod that basically turns your ipod into a hard drive. When you look at "My Computer" it shows your ipod as another drive, and you can copy and paste to and from it.
Hope this helps.

On your home PC you have to disable auto sync music and set set to manual. That should be under options/ preferences

you are able to in trouble-free words use iTunes to move archives to an iPod. regrettably iTunes and Vista do not get alongside immediately. that is between the various subject matters with Vista immediately that Apple and Microsoft are engaged on.
