I think the christening is usually seen as the official welcoming of the child so that's why it's celebrated and people bring gifts. Aside from family members, though, I think I've only given a gift for one or the other and not for both.

The baby shower gift is actually for the mother to make her life a little easier. The Christening gift is for celebrating the parents and child's plegde to lead a good (christian) life.

We kinda thought she'd be our one and easily and that i stored certainly no longer something. In my case I registered at purpose and easily listed affordable products or maybe positioned notes telling them that im no longer particular on the type and so on so they are in a position to have greater liberty to compliment what they choose in the event that they pick to do it in any respect. i'm appalled that she insists you deliver a p.c.. of diapers as properly. perchance in case you pick to no longer bypass, deliver her a p.c.. of diapers and a word sending her your desires and so on. or purely deliver a card with a $20 present card. once you're on the brink of this individual in any respect i might provide her a dose of actuality. tell her why you refuse to attend. some human beings bypass by way of existence questioning they are in a position to assert/get/do something they please and no one corrects their habit. existence is purely too short to stroll on eggshells around human beings, fantastically no longer worth ungrateful human beings. tell her that if she had liked the presents the 1st time around perchance she does no longer must be soliciting for plenty this time around and so on. If it have been me and that i desperate to bypass, i does no longer get high priced lovable crap off the registry. i might get some affordable tub/toddler shampoo and a few wash cloths or something of this type. Stuff she will discover functional yet wont injury.
