I saw the Primeval trailer, and was all excited to see another serial killer movie, and upon viewing the movie felt very cheated to find out it was about a crocodile!!! At least with "Snakes on a Plane" I knew what I was getting!! :)

Bummer you fell for that scam huh....

I totally agree every time I saw their "Saw" like ads I would get mad since I knew it was about Gustav the Croc...

Sorry you got ripped off.....next time you go to the movies sneak into a 2nd show to recoup your losses.....

Actually I saw the trailer of that and it does mention the killer isn't human, but you miss that part if you aren't paying attention. I don't like that it is misleading because I would rather watch films about human characters, as I think most people would and the producers probably realized that and tried to pull one over on us.

The trailer for the movie Primeval said it was not human.

Yes...and when I answered a question about this movie last week, I received a violation notice (apparently for providing a link to the news story on Gustav)

I felt the same way. I don't think it was right I think they got alot of peoples attention that way but once it got out it was a croc and then they showed the trailer that let you know it wasn't a human I think they lost their fan base. I don't think it's fair to mislead people like that myself. Plus I think it really is going to hurt them. Plus a movie about a croc just seems lame to me. But that's just me

yeah, total buzz kill..... but then i started thinking, if there was an actual serial killer whom has claimed over 300 lives, I'm pretty sure we would have been hearing about this story . so i guess shame on us for getting sucked in by marketing.

No, for that is the point of a trailer, or perhaps they should more accurately be called "teaser".
