Call for faith-based NHS services?

Question

This is just crazy! A muslim doctor or something like that has called for the NHS to have separate facilitys than the rest of us. They dont want medicine with alcohol, they want places of worship and no pork products etc. who the hell do these people think they are? They are lucky we even tolerate them at all. The way i see things is if muslim people want to gel with the rest of us then they are going to have to be more accepting of our culture, and way of life.

Im fed up with muslims always pissing and moaning about how they are treated unfairly. Well i can tell you thats not the case, it seems like the rest of us are suffering here. If they dont like something then they can F**k off for all i care. Im fedup with seeing them and all their religious crap they wear etc. Always showing it down our faces!

I read about a white kid attacked by a group of 10 asians with a hammer. It was a racial attack aswel and i think its F**king disgusting!
Anyone think im out of line? or justified

Well if there are muslim out there that share my views then i would like to hear them.

Health care should be blind to religious or political values. It should be for everybody.

i'm not confident what precisely you're relating so my answer should be slightly imprecise! All religions are catered for interior the NHS, once you're having an operation you are able to placed down your faith on a type so if something occurs (!) a representative of your faith will be there for you. diverse community church homes in my section (and that i'm confident synagogues, temples etc in extra multi-cultural elements the position there's a want for them) make usual visits too to the health center. There are also chapels which each person can visit to think about issues. So there is clearly not something incorrect with providing faith facilities to muslims or in reality any faith in health center - it truly is unobtrusive to those who do not want to take advantages of those facilities and provides convenience to those who desire. If on the different hand you're arguing that severe muslim/christian/any non secular perspectives adversely and unduly impression health center clinical regulations, nicely i ought to for sure disagree with that, yet i do not imagine that the kind of aspect is happening besides.

ok. first and foremost i don't think you should tar ALL muslims with the same brush.

secondly, are they for freaking real?! many medicines contain alcohol for purely medicinal reasons! its not like it will get you drunk! and anyway, they are essentially guests in our country, as i would be if i went to india or pakistaan or any eastern country- i wouldn't roll up and start demanding they all eat fish on fridays in hospitals and what-not, its called respect. its also disgusting that no one dares offend the muslims, but christianity is insulted every single day. you shouldn't offend any religion. again, respect.

and its also wrong that many people think racism only works one way, ie whites being racist to blacks and asians. not true, we have 'honky' and 'cracka' and the asian 'gori' i think these are just as offensive as 'n!gg3r' or 'paki' but obviously my views are not shared by many, the fact that they use so called 'positive' discrimination in the police force is an example (ie giving ethnic minorities priority over whites.) surely the job should go to the best qualified person, regardless of race? if i had an accident and had go to hospital and the best surgeon just happened to be asian, i wouldn't kick up a fuss! why should it be any different anywhere else for any other race?

thirdly, a lot of muslims don't agree with this current situation of a minority of muslims exploiting PC-sensitive middle england to get their own way. One muslim woman wrote to complain in metro about the PC brigade trying to ban christmas in the workplace, saying she has never known a muslim offended by it and this unwanted representation by middle class do gooders was both uneccessary and generating ill-feeling toward muslims. i think her voice represented many.

I agree with some of what you say and disagree with some.

I don't think doctors should have to piss around and worry about offending sensiblities when someone is dying in front of them. Also I would like to see hospital space put to better use than prayer rooms. A few beds or an operating theatre perhaps??!!

We have a Blair NHS that cannot support the majority. How can we afford to have a separate one for different religions. Do they have a white christian hospital in Iran, don't think so. It is the PC brigade with nothing to do being paid by us to screw up the UK on the orders of Prats in Europe.

It's the people who listen to, and give credence to the oddballs and radicals who come up with stupid demands like that, that worry me. If someone voices an opinion like that to me I would laugh so hard.....! But we have among us far too many PC people who listen to these crazy suggestions and actually consider them! And what's more, they are British People. Mainly Local Authority people! And of course some Government Ministers. Unbelievable!

No way - all faiths have faith in science and efficiencies, so the same treatment is good for one and all (even those Jehovas-Witnesses who just don't realise it yet).
