Yes. I do all the time. It's called an imagination and it can do wonderful things to spice up you life. The thoughts always depend where I am in my life at the time

Sure, I think most people do this at one time or another. But it's not nearly as fun as thinking of the person you are actually with. This is a sure sign that a relationship needs some work or that you need to work on yourself. It is often associated with unreasonable or unrealistic expectations about what a woman ought to look like. It can also be a sign of boredom.
It's nothing anybody should feel guilty about but I don't think it is particularly helpful. I think it is something worth avoiding.
