Love can render you weak or powerful. Love is the most beautiful, most powerful emotion you can feel. Also the most frightening, because you often risk everything to surrender to it. Those with cold hearts who are afraid of feeling may deem love (or any emotion) a "weakness" but opening your heart to someone takes more courage than anything & is a sign of strength.

I think it is both. Love is a very powerful emotion. It can raise you up above the clouds or tear you down to where you feel empty. But I wouldn't consider love weakness, to a point. We need to feel powered to let ourselves feel love, to take that chance, to find the answer to that "what if."

you're right most will say power, but it could go the other way, depends on who answers this weekend. the why is because love can overcome fear, and fear is the root of hatred. love can overcome ignorance, and ignorance is the root of fear.
because love will take the time to learn the truth of a matter and about a person, before making a judgement, and remaining ignorant.
because love can be honest, with no hidden agendas, for the sake of honesty and love.

Weakness if you're in love. Power if the other person is in love with you.

I would have to say love. This displays your weaknesses for others which creates power for you to draw others unto you.
