I want to transfer info from old tower to new tower. what is the easiest way, and what equip is required?

I'm guessing you mean desktop computer tower. If you have a network, just hook them both up to the network, share the hard drive on one and access it from the other to copy all your files. If you don't have a network but both computers have network cards, you can buy a crossover network cable to hook them together and transfer files.
