i love the part where maggie gylenhaal sp* is out in the street walking to the neighbors house to get her daughter..and she stops. and all you can hear are tv's and radios and all they're talking about is the world trade center. that's so true. i dont think anyone watched or listened to anything else that day.
i'm disappointed that some people are looking at this movie like a production company is making money off of 9/11. The movie is about 2 police officers who voluntarily went in... and what they had to do to stay alive once the whole building came down on top of them. and how they're families dealt with it at home. It's not just a movie about 9-11.

i think that if you're super sensitve at heart..... and you dont like drama... then you shouldnt watch it. you have to be able to accept it for what happened. and maybe shut your feelings off a little bit. dont take that the wrong way

the only people who think that the movie was a "slam" to people who lost those to the attacks are the ones who havent seen the movie. it was not a slam.. nor could it be taken as a slam. even by those who lived it

to forget what happened that day is to say you dont care if you died tonight. i think this movie needs to be seen by everyone in the world more than once.united 93 was the best though, because it shows what all these other people heard over they're phones while talking to their loved ones for the last time.we all must remember that it can happen again.terrorism is no joke.terrorists have no feelings of compassion.they do not care if the bombs are on a child or if they kill their mother.we must all remember and be prepared.

I think it was early. People who lost people on 9-11 are just now getting back to their lives and then they have to be slammed with a movie like this just to remind them of what just happenned five years ago. Hell they waited 30 plus years to make movie about pearl harbor. Why couldn't the directors wait a little bit longer to make a movie about 9-11? Oh yeah I know! Because hollywood doesn't care about people and their silly little emotions....only money.

As much as I've heard this movie was good, I don't think I'd be able to watch it. Or want to; as much as I remember 9/11, I don't want to cry for a few hours when I watch a movie. Or remember the stories of people that day in a movie version.

I thought it was quite good; I wouldn't go so far as to say I loved it.
As for the nonsensical criticisms of the film -- all of the "it's too soon" garbage -- I have no patience for it. You don't like the subject matter, keep your wallet in your pocket. But to attempt to deny artists the absolute RIGHT to respond to world events is ludicrous.

you are completely right this movie is great, it is not about 9/11 as a whole, rather it is about the 2 police officers, their family and the experience the lived that day--very powerful
I recomend it to everyone

I loved this movie too. I thought the acting was fantastic and that they really brought to life what happened to those 2 officers. It takes some brave people to do things like that, we ar elucky to have people like that in our country willing to put their safety on the line to try to save others.

Sorry to say this but I think that this is one of the most obvious cash-ins of a horrible attack. Tribute? That's a load of crap. I heared that those affected by the attack were pissed and I don't blame them. The film makers should be ashamed of themselves

I have the movie on DVD and i couldn't watch it past halfway i thought it was disturbing. This was a tragedy but i don't thinkk a movie should have been made about it.
